Check microphone permission
Confirm Windows and LobeWork can access the intended microphone only when you start voice input.
Check engine readiness
Settings → Voice & Dictation should show whether the assigned engine, runtime, and model package are ready.
Try a short phrase
Reduce background noise, use one short phrase, and confirm the selected language profile before testing a long prompt.
Use the fallback intentionally
When the local runtime is incomplete, the System Speech Bridge can be selected if the operating system supports it.
Collect safe diagnostics
Include engine status and app version, but do not attach transcripts, private project content, file paths, or secrets unless you have reviewed the preview.
