Start with an outcome
A strong project name describes what you are trying to finish. Use “Atlas launch website” instead of “Website ideas,” or “Client proposal — Acme” instead of “Acme notes.”
Create the project
Open Projects
Choose Projects from the main navigation.
Choose New project
Enter the project name and a short description of the desired outcome.
Choose a location
Select where the project workspace should live when LobeWork asks for a local location.
Create
Review the details and create the project.
Add the minimum useful context
Attach the brief, important reference files, links, existing decisions, and constraints. Avoid adding every file you own—the goal is useful context, not a larger pile.
Use Project Context and Memory for information that should remain easy to find across future sessions.
Define the next action
Task
Create a task when the next step is clear and trackable.
Prompt or provider
Route work to an AI provider when you have a defined request and the right context.
Project Map
Open Project Map when you need to understand relationships or missing pieces.
Handoff
Build a handoff when another person, provider, or session will continue the work.
What a healthy project contains
A clear outcome, a small set of current priorities, attached source material, recorded decisions, and a visible next action.
Project naming tips
Use the deliverable
Name the thing that will be completed.
Include the client or initiative
Add enough context to distinguish similar projects.
Avoid generic names
Names such as “New project” or “Ideas” become hard to search later.
