Files, artifacts, and exports
Files
Source material that belongs to the project, including briefs, notes, images, documents, and code.
Artifacts
Useful outputs created during the work, such as a draft, analysis, design, generated file, or reusable result.
Exports
Final or shareable versions prepared for delivery, publishing, or use outside LobeWork.
Understand the workspace
The folder tree shows the project structure. The main area shows the contents of the selected folder, and the top controls let you switch between Files, Artifacts, and Exports.
Search can locate folders, files, artifacts, and exports across the current scope.

Add files to a project
Drag and drop
Drop files into the project root or the selected folder.
Browse
Use the add or upload control to choose files from your computer.
Confirm the destination
Make sure the correct project and folder are active before adding files.
Review the result
Open the file card to confirm the name, type, and location.
Preview and open files
Select a supported file to preview it inside LobeWork. Use Open when the file should be handled by its normal desktop application.
Safe browsing rules help prevent accidental access to hidden or system files. Only expose those files when you understand why they are needed.
Attach a file to context
Choose the file
Open its action menu.
Attach to context
Select the active context package or project context destination.
Review what is sent
Before routing work, confirm the file is relevant and appropriate for the selected provider or person.
Keep the project organized
Use folders for durable categories, not every tiny task. Keep generated experiments in an outputs or working area, and move approved deliverables into exports.
Use clear names that describe the file’s role and version.
If a file is missing
Refresh the folder
The file may have been added outside LobeWork.
Check the project root
Confirm the folder belongs to the active project.
Review filters
Files, Artifacts, and Exports display different item types.
Check permissions
The operating system may restrict access to the file or folder.
