Before you begin
Use the Windows installer from the Downloads area of your LobeWork account. Close any older LobeWork version before starting the installation.
Make sure Windows has enough free storage for the application, updates, project files, and any local models you plan to use.
Download the installer
Sign in
Open your LobeWork account and go to Downloads.
Choose Windows
Select the latest stable Windows installer.
Save the file
Keep the installer in a location you can find, such as Downloads.
Run the installer
Open the installer
Double-click the downloaded installer.
Review the Windows prompt
Confirm the publisher and continue only when the installer came from your LobeWork account.
Complete installation
Follow the installer prompts and choose whether to create desktop or Start menu shortcuts when offered.
First launch
Open LobeWork, sign in with the same account used for your plan, and give the device a recognizable name when activation is requested.
The app will open your workspace after access is confirmed. You can then create a project or reopen an existing one.
Updating LobeWork
When a new version is available, download the current installer from your account or follow the update prompt shown in the app. Close active work before updating.
Common installation problems
Windows blocks the installer
Confirm the file came from your account and review the publisher details.
The app will not open
Restart Windows, reopen LobeWork, and check that another update is not still running.
Activation fails
Verify the device is online and that you are using the account connected to the purchase.
