Local-first project workspace
Project files, artifacts, notes, and local indexes are designed to remain on your device unless you choose a connected service.
LobeWork is designed to make it clear what stays on your device, what you choose to send to a provider, and what account information is needed to deliver the service.
Project files, artifacts, notes, and local indexes are designed to remain on your device unless you choose a connected service.
When you send context to an AI provider or connected tool, the destination and selected content should be visible before the action.
Account, license, device, download, billing status, and support records are handled separately from your project workspace.
LobeWork is built around a desktop workspace. Project files, artifacts, prompts, tasks, notes, decisions, and local indexes are intended to remain on the computer where you keep the project unless you intentionally use a cloud connection, share a handoff, or send selected context to another service.
You remain responsible for choosing where project folders are stored and for maintaining appropriate backups.
We collect the information needed to operate your account, such as your name, email address, subscription and billing status, Team Capacity, license or trial status, activated devices, download history, organization membership, and support requests. We use this information to provide access, manage renewals and purchases, deliver installers, prevent abuse, answer support requests, and keep your account secure.

When you explicitly start the 14-day desktop trial, LobeWork records the account, trial start and end dates, first activated device, application version, and access status needed to provide and protect the trial. Creating an account or downloading LobeWork does not itself start the trial countdown.
We may use privacy-conscious hashed account, device, network, and rate-limit signals to prevent repeated automated or abusive trial claims. These records are not used to access your local project content.
LobeWork lets you use providers and services you choose. When you send a prompt, file, context package, or other content to a provider, that provider receives the selected information and handles it under its own terms and privacy policy.
Review the destination before sending sensitive or confidential material. Your provider subscription and privacy settings remain separate from LobeWork.
When an organization owner invites someone, LobeWork stores the invited email, role, invitation status, organization membership, assigned seat, and related license records needed to provide access. Invitation links are time-limited and intended only for the invited email address.
Organization owners can view membership and license-assignment information. They cannot access another member’s local project files, chats, prompts, provider credentials, or private workspace contents through the customer portal.
Payment information is collected and processed directly by Stripe through Stripe-hosted payment forms. LobeWork does not receive or store complete card numbers, card security codes, or full bank-account credentials.
We receive and may store the Stripe customer, payment-method, subscription, transaction, and invoice identifiers needed to manage your account. We may also display limited billing details such as the payment-method type, card brand, last four digits, expiration date, billing contact information, and payment status.
You can securely update your payment method, review invoices, change plans, or cancel renewal from your LobeWork billing dashboard. Stripe also processes payment information under its own terms and privacy practices.
When you ask for help, you may choose to share the app version, operating system, device name, error details, and basic diagnostics. LobeWork does not automatically attach your project files to a support request.
Do not send passwords, API keys, payment card information, or unnecessary client data in a support message.
We use access controls, encrypted connections, limited administrative access, account authentication, signed download links, and monitoring intended to protect customer information. No system can guarantee absolute security, so customers should also use strong passwords, secure their devices, and keep software current.
Send a request through LobeWork Support and choose the Privacy & Security category. We may need to verify the account before discussing or changing personal information.
